‘Gulbadan’ gold Varanasi silk brocade jacket is made in our ‘Gulbadan’ textile, which translates to ‘body like rose,’ and was also the name of the daughter of Mughal Emperor Babur and author of Humayun-nama. It is drawn from our textile archives, and took over a year to produce. The jacket features a concealed front button placket, side pockets, and a printed lining of peacock motifs.
Model is 176cm/5'8" and is wearing a size Small. Fits true to size.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
