GHARIYAL
Rs. 64,800Reversible 'Ghariyal' jacket is versatile and can be turned inside-out to transform into an all new garment. Its one side is in metallic grey Varanasi silk brocade with a weave of Marsh Crocodile in silver and copper that come together - intertwined to create a form, while the other side is in khaki wool.
Both sides of the jacket feature custom-made brass buttons with black enamel detailing. It has high slits on the sides and is accessorized with a reversible belt.
Model is 173cm/5'7" and is wearing a size Small-Medium jacket.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.

INDIAN MARSH CROCODILE (Crocodylus palustris)
The Marsh Crocodile is mainly found in the freshwater ecosystems (marshes, lakes, rivers and artificial ponds). A very good swimmer, in the dry season they walk on the ground at night searching for water and remain submerged in the water throughout the day. Their population is threatened mostly by habitat destruction, including entanglement in fishnets.
