SPOTTED DEER (Axis axis)

Spotted Deer is a native deer species of India. It is also known as 'Chital'. The name Chital is derived from the Sanskrit word Chitral which means variegated or spotted. A gregarious animal with a matriarchal herd, this species is found in a wide geographical range with a good population and hence they are listed as Least Concerned by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

BENGAL TIGER (Panthera tigris tigris)

It is estimated that there are less than 3,000 Bengal tigers left in the wild. They usually hunt at dusk and dawn, and their stripes help conceal them in the shadows of tall grasses. They stalk and pounce because they are not able to chase prey a long distance and can consume as much as 40 kg (88 lbs.) of meat in one feeding.
